நேற்று வெளியான +2 பொதுத்தேர்வு முடிவில் 600/600 பெற்றுச் சாதனை படைத்துள்ள மாணவி நந்தினியும் "படிப்புதான் சொத்து என்று நினைத்துப் படித்தேன்" எனப் பேட்டியில் கூறியதைக் கண்டு பெருமையடைந்தேன். அவரை இன்று நேரிலும் அழைத்து வாழ்த்தினேன். அவரது உயர்கல்விக்குத் தேவையான அனைத்து உதவிகளையும் நமது அரசே செய்து தரும் என்ற உறுதியையும் வழங்கியுள்ளேன்.
எளிய குடும்பப் பின்னணி கொண்ட நந்தினி போன்றோர் தங்கள் உழைப்பால் அடையும் உயரங்கள்தான் நம் தமிழ்நாட்டின் அடையாளம்!

The Chief Minister cited a couplet from the sacred Tirukkural illustrating that true wisdom forms an indestructible armor shielding individuals against adversity. He assured Nandhini that the state government will fully fund and sponsor her entire higher educational career, removing all financial hurdles.
