Had discussion and productive engagement with the heads of major financial and industrial institutions from Singapore. The talks with Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, Executive Director and CEO of Temasek, Kim Yin Wong of Sembcorp and Sanjeev Dasgupta of CapitaLand reaffirmed the long-standing relations between Tamil Nadu and Singapore. They expressed their keen interest in investing in our Tamil Nadu and partner us in our journey towards becoming a trillion dollar economy.
We explored the possibilities of expanding the existing investments in renewable energy, industrial parks and logistics to new areas like food processing and fishing.
Looking forward to build and continue further upon the historical and mutually beneficial partnership between Tamil Nadu and Singapore.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin engaged in high-level strategic dialogues in Singapore with chief executive officers of premier global financial and industrial institutions, including Temasek, Sembcorp, and CapitaLand. Stalin met Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara of Temasek, Kim Yin Wong of Sembcorp, and Sanjeev Dasgupta of CapitaLand, reaffirming the enduring economic partnership between Tamil Nadu and Singapore.
During the productive meetings, the corporate heads expressed keen interest in partnering with Tamil Nadu as the state advances toward achieving a one-trillion-dollar gross state domestic product by 2030. Stalin and the business leaders explored viable avenues for scaling up existing investments across renewable energy generation, modern industrial logistics parks, and green data centers. The dialogues also encompassed entering new high-growth sectors, particularly food processing technology, sustainable commercial aquaculture, and cold-chain marine export infrastructure projects.
Stalin assured the global corporate leaders of complete policy stability, expedited regulatory approvals, and tailored infrastructure facilitation to support their upcoming capital projects in Tamil Nadu. He emphasized that partnering with world-class institutional investors drives advanced technological transfer, creates skilled engineering employment, and enhances the state's industrial productivity across diverse geographic regions.
