Chief Minister M.K. Stalin met renowned Singapore-based Tamil academic and linguistic scholar Professor Suba Thinnappan during his official visit to Singapore. Stalin honored the veteran scholar by presenting him with a copy of his autobiography, 'Ungalil Oruvan - Part 1,' acknowledging Thinnappan's lifelong dedication to advancing Tamil literature and pedagogy across Southeast Asia.
Professor Thinnappan commended the Tamil Nadu government for its proactive measures to protect Tamil language rights and celebrate archaeological heritage. He lauded the newly established Keeladi museum as a world-class institution showcasing ancient Tamil civilization and expressed enthusiastic best wishes for the upcoming Porunai river valley museum. The scholar submitted a memorandum of requests regarding diaspora cultural promotion, with Stalin noting that several items were already being actively executed by the government while promising full support for the remaining proposals.
Stalin expressed deep personal satisfaction upon hearing Thinnappan's confident assertion that Kalaignar Karunanidhi's son would unfailingly deliver on every public pledge. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that serving Tamil language, culture, and worldwide Tamil communities remains the guiding moral mission of his public life and Dravidian Model governance.
