கலைஞர் நூற்றாண்டு விழா என்பது வெறுமனே புகழ்பாடும் கூட்டங்களாக அல்லாமல், மக்கள் பயன்பெறும் விழாவாக அமைய இருக்கிறது. அவ்வகையில்தான், கிண்டியில் மருத்துவமனையும் மதுரையில் நூலகமும் பிரமாண்டமாக எழுந்து நின்று திறப்பு விழா காண உள்ளன. இவ்வரிசையில், காலமெல்லாம் கலைஞரின் புகழ் ஒளிரும் வகையில் மற்றுமொரு பெருமைமிகு அடையாளமாக #KalaignarConventionCentre எனும் உலகத்தரத்திலான பயன்பாட்டுச் சின்னம் 25 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவில் அறிவுக்குடியிருப்பாக அமைக்கப்படும் என்ற அறிவிப்பை வெளியிட்டேன்.
ஆண்டு முழுவதும் கலைஞர் சாதனைகளை எடுத்துச் சொல்லி, மக்கள் மகிழ்ச்சி அடையும் திட்டங்களுடன் கலைஞர் நூற்றாண்டு விழாவினைக் கொண்டாட அமைச்சர்கள், உயர் அலுவலர்கள், பல்துறை வல்லுநர்கள் கொண்ட குழுக்கள் அமைக்கப்படும்!

The ceremony marked the official commencement of birth centenary observances celebrating former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's multifaceted public service and cultural contributions to modern India.
Stalin declared that the centenary celebrations will avoid mere verbal tributes, focusing instead on inaugurating major public welfare infrastructure that directly benefits ordinary citizens across the state. He highlighted landmark projects nearing completion, including the multi-specialty government hospital in Guindy and the world-class Kalaignar Centenary Library in Madurai. In addition, the Chief Minister announced the development of the Kalaignar Convention Centre, an international-standard civic and academic complex spanning twenty-five acres designed as a permanent knowledge hub for public gatherings and cultural events.
To supervise centenary programs across the state, Stalin announced specialized steering committees comprising cabinet ministers, senior administrative officers, and external domain experts. He affirmed that Karunanidhi's lifelong dedication to state autonomy, rationalist education, and marginalized empowerment will guide every government initiative implemented throughout the centenary commemorative year.
