ஏழை - எளிய, கிராமப்புற மாணவர்களும் இளைஞர்களும் குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் பயிற்சி பெற்று, நிறுவனங்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கும் திறன் கொண்டவர்களாக வளர இந்த முயற்சி வழிவகுக்கும்.
71 ஐ.டி.ஐ.களில் ரூ.2877.43 கோடி மதிப்பில் Industry 4.0 தரத்திலான தொழில்நுட்ப மையங்கள் அமைக்கும் இந்த முயற்சியில், இன்று முதற்கட்டமாக ரூ.762.30 கோடி செலவில் 22 அரசு தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களில் தொழில்நுட்ப மையங்களைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தேன்.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 technology centers established across twenty-two government Industrial Training Institutes, executed at an outlay of 762.30 crore rupees in the initial phase. The ambitious initiative forms part of an expansive 2,877.43 crore rupee project undertaken in partnership with Tata Technologies to modernize seventy-one government ITIs across the state. Stalin explained that this transformation bridges the divide between vocational education and modern industrial demands.
The modern centers feature advanced infrastructure for industrial robotics, additive manufacturing, computerized machining, electric vehicle technology, and internet-of-things applications. Stalin emphasized that students from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds can now access cutting-edge vocational training at nominal fees. He noted that equipping youth with industry-ready technical skills ensures direct access to lucrative employment in expanding manufacturing sectors across Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister affirmed that upgrading human capital represents the foundational premise of the Dravidian Model of inclusive industrial growth. He reiterated that modernizing public training centers guarantees that the valuable benefits of contemporary technological progress reach marginalized communities, propelling Tamil Nadu's industrial capabilities and knowledge economy forward into the future.
