எங்கும் நிறைந்துவிட்ட தலைவர் கலைஞரின் திட்டங்களால் இப்போதும் பல கோடிப் பேர் பயனடைந்து வருகின்றனர். இந்தியாவுக்கே முன்னோடித் திட்டமாக அவர் அறிமுகப்படுத்திய கலைஞர் காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தால் எண்ணற்ற ஏழை எளியோர் உயர் சிகிச்சை பெற்று உயிர் பிழைத்துள்ளனர்.
அத்தகைய தாயுமான தலைவரது நூற்றாண்டில் தனது குடும்பத்துடன் உடலுறுப்புத் தானம் செய்ய முடிவெடுத்த சேலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இந்தக் கழக உடன்பிறப்பின் செயலால் நெகிழ்கிறேன்.
கடந்த 2009-ஆம் ஆண்டே எனது துணைவியாரும் நானும் உடலுறுப்புகளைத் தானம் செய்ய விருப்பம் தெரிவித்துக் கையொப்பமிட்டு, அனைவரும் உடலுறுப்புத் தானம் செய்ய விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்றும் வலியுறுத்தி இருந்ததை இந்த நேரத்தில் நினைவுகூர்கிறேன்.
அனைவரும் உடலுறுப்புத் தானம் செய்வோம்! மண்ணும் நெருப்பும் தின்னும் உடலைத் தேவையுள்ளோர்க்குத் தந்து மனிதம் காப்போம்!

The Chief Minister recalled that in 2009, he and his wife Durga Stalin had personally signed organ donation pledges, initiating widespread public awareness campaigns across the state. Stalin observed that donating vital organs transforms human mortality into life-giving hope for individuals suffering from end-stage organ failure. He urged people across all communities to transcend hesitation and embrace organ donation to preserve humanity.
Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu leads India in cadaveric organ transplantation due to advanced hospital infrastructure and high public empathy. He pledged continued state support to expand cadaveric organ donation registries, streamline medical infrastructure, and respectfully honor donor families with state honors.
