Birthday Greetings to veteran political leader and @RJDforIndia National President Thiru @laluprasadrjd ji.
The emphasis he gave for 'dignity' (izzat), makes his politics very close to that of our Self-Respect movement helmed by Thanthai Periyar. Be it the reservation for the backward classes or raising voice for caste census or upholding secularism, the consistent stands of Thiru. Lalu Prasad avargal make him an unflinching warrior of Social Justice.
On his 76th birthday, I wish him many more active years in service of people to strengthen the Mandal Politics in North India.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin extended affectionate birthday felicitations to veteran socialist leader and Rashtriya Janata Dal National President Lalu Prasad Yadav on completing seventy-six years of age. Stalin highlighted that Yadav's political philosophy, centered on conferring human dignity and self-respect to oppressed communities, shares deep ideological kinship with the Self-Respect Movement founded by Thanthai Periyar. He praised Yadav as an uncompromising champion of social justice who transformed North Indian politics.
The Chief Minister commended Yadav's unyielding support for backward class reservations, his persistent advocacy for conducting an all-India caste census, and his steadfast defense of secular principles against communal polarization. Stalin noted that through the All India Federation for Social Justice, progressive regional forces from Tamil Nadu to Bihar are forging common ground to safeguard affirmative action and federalism across the nation.
Stalin wished the RJD patriarch many more years of vibrant health and active public leadership in service of marginalized citizens. He declared that strengthening Mandal politics and deepening grassroots social democracy remain absolutely vital for realizing a truly equitable and inclusive India across all federal states.
