1,367 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பிலான முடிவுற்ற திட்டப் பணிகள் தொடக்கம்; எண்ணற்ற புதிய திட்டங்களுக்கு அடிக்கல்; 50 ஆயிரத்து 202 பயனாளிகளுக்கு அரசு நலத்திட்ட உதவிகள் என மாங்கனி நகரில் மகத்தான அரசு விழா தந்த மனநிறைவுடன் நாளை குறித்த நாளில் மேட்டூர் அணையையும் திறந்து வைக்கிறேன்.
அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் அரசு நலத்திட்ட உதவிகள் வழங்கும் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் ஏற்கனவே முதல் சுற்று நிறைவடைந்த நிலையில், இரண்டாம் சுற்று சேலத்திலிருந்து துவங்குகிறது.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin unveiled the first official centenary bronze statue of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at Anna Park in Salem. Speaking at a massive public welfare distribution ceremony, Stalin inaugurated completed developmental projects valued at 1,367 crore rupees, laid foundation stones for transformative infrastructure initiatives, and distributed government welfare benefits directly to 50,202 beneficiaries from Salem district. He lovingly described Karunanidhi as an intellectual fragrant flower nurtured in Perarignar Anna's rationalist garden.
The Chief Minister explained that the Salem convention marked the commencement of the second statewide phase of public welfare distributions, after completing an exhaustive first round across all thirty-eight districts. Stalin expressed immense personal satisfaction at delivering essential livelihood assets, housing documents, and financial assistance directly into the hands of working-class families before departing to open Mettur Dam.
Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian Model governance delivers tangible developmental gains and life-changing economic opportunities to every citizen without any discrimination. He declared that combining social welfare distribution with strategic regional infrastructure ensures sustained economic progress, robust social security, and widespread prosperity throughout western Tamil Nadu districts.
