Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin praised Singapore-based Tamil diaspora brothers Elangovan, Muthazhagan, and Rajagopal for completely reconstructing a sixty-year-old government school in Perugavazhndan village, Thiruvarur district. The school building, severely damaged during the devastating Cyclone Gaja, was rebuilt by the siblings in accordance with the heartfelt wish of their late mother, Dhanasekari. The state government formally granted permission to name the newly renovated modern auditorium after Dhanasekari Ammal in honor of their filial devotion and civic philanthropy.

Stalin expressed deep emotion both as the state's Chief Minister and as a native of Thiruvarur upon learning of this generous community contribution under the Namma School Namma Ooru Palli Scheme. He noted that the initiative encourages alumni and diaspora Tamils to partner with the government in modernizing state school infrastructure. He commended the brothers for demonstrating that collective social commitment can revitalize grassroots educational institutions across rural landscapes.
