The raid conducted by ED at the Secretariat office of Hon'ble Minister Senthil Balaji, is a direct assault on the federal principle.
The backdoor tactics of BJP against its political opponents will not yield them desired results. BJP will learn it the hard way soon. The silence of people who are watching BJP's cheap acts of vindictive politics should not be underestimated. It is nothing but the calm before the storm of 2024 that will sweep BJP away.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin characterized the Enforcement Directorate's search operation at the state Secretariat office of Minister V. Senthil Balaji as a direct assault on the fundamental federal structure of the Indian constitution. Stalin cautioned the Bharatiya Janata Party that deploying backdoor maneuvers and coercive administrative pressure against political adversaries will fail to produce desired political results. He stated that the ruling party at the Centre will soon experience the consequences of abusing statutory powers for partisan ends.
The Chief Minister observed that citizens across the country are quietly observing these malicious acts of vindictive governance with profound indignation. Stalin explained that the apparent silence of the electorate represents the deceptive calm before an impending political storm that will sweep away autocratic governance in the 2024 general elections. He reaffirmed that regional governments derive their authority directly from the people and will not surrender their dignity to federal intimidation.
Stalin reiterated his resolve to uphold democratic conventions and protect state rights against institutional overreach. He concluded that no administrative pressure can weaken the DMK's commitment to constitutional democracy.
