Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin hosted and felicitated candidates from the state who cleared the prestigious Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination in Chennai. Addressing the newly recruited administrators, police officers, and diplomats, Stalin reminded them that occupying high executive office brings manifold duties toward vulnerable sections of society. He advised the young officers to remember that the common people are their actual superiors and to interact with citizens with kindness, humility, and accessibility.
The Chief Minister stressed that genuine understanding of the country requires deep empathy with public grievances and rural socioeconomic realities. He encouraged the probationers to study the community closely, observe local grassroots challenges, and utilize their administrative discretion to deliver equitable justice and social progress. Stalin remarked that while passing competitive examinations represents an impressive personal milestone, their true professional test lies in compassionate field execution and ethical governance.
Stalin urged the officers to maintain exemplary integrity and bring distinction to Tamil Nadu throughout their careers. He assured that the state government will expand institutional coaching infrastructure through Naan Mudhalvan to enable greater youth representation from underprivileged backgrounds in central civil services.
