தமிழினத்தின் உயர்வுக்குத் தடைக்கல்லாக விளங்கும் மாயைகளை உடைத்தெறிந்த பகுத்தறிவு இயக்கத்தின் அடித்தளத்தில் கிளர்ந்தெழுந்த திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம், ஓர் அறிவியக்கம்! அறிவகம் - அறிவாலயம் எனத் தலைமைக் கழகத்துக்குப் பெயரிட்ட கொள்கை இயக்கம்!
பேரறிஞர் அண்ணா நூற்றாண்டில் அண்ணா நூற்றாண்டு நூலகம் அமைத்தார் முத்தமிழறிஞர் கலைஞர். இப்போது #கலைஞர்100-இல் நாம் #கலைஞர்நூற்றாண்டுநூலகம் அமைத்துள்ளோம்!
தென் தமிழ்நாட்டின் இளைஞர்களுக்கு அறிவுச் சுரங்கமாக விளங்கப்போகும் இந்த நூலகத்தை இளைஞர்கள் பயன்படுத்திட வேண்டும்! அறிவிற்சிறந்த தமிழர் என உயர்ந்திட வேண்டும்!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the world-class Kalaignar Centenary Library in Madurai amidst immense public celebration. Welcomed warmly by the citizens of the ancient temple city, Stalin dedicated the six-storey architectural marvel to students, researchers, and book lovers. He stated that the Dravidian movement was born as a rationalist intellectual crusade that shattered feudal superstitions, leading the DMK to proudly name its headquarters Arivagam and Arivalayam as temples of reason and enlightenment.
Stalin recalled that former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi established the iconic Anna Centenary Library in Chennai to mark C.N. Annadurai's centenary, and the current administration has fulfilled its promise by dedicating this counterpart library in Madurai for Kalaignar's centenary. Built with cutting-edge digital resources, rare manuscript archives, and specialized children's sections, the institution serves as an intellectual lighthouse for youth across southern districts.
The Chief Minister urged young learners to utilize the vast literary treasures to sharpen their intellect and compete globally with confidence. He affirmed that establishing modern public knowledge infrastructure across the state represents the truest homage to Karunanidhi's enduring scholarly legacy, progressive vision, and rationalist ideals.
