Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin participated in a joint national press conference in Bengaluru alongside prominent leaders of twenty-six secular opposition parties following the conclusion of their two-day consultative conclave. The assembly formally announced the creation of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, structured to safeguard constitutional democracy, judicial independence, and socioeconomic equity across the country. Stalin declared that the unanimous decision to form this broad-based platform signals an irreversible turning point against authoritarian centralization.
Addressing regional and national journalists, Stalin emphasized that the coalition embodies the genuine spirit of cooperative federalism and cultural pluralism. He stated that regional parties and national organizations have set aside differences to counter attempts to homogenize India's multifaceted identity. Stalin noted that excessive centralization, misuse of federal law enforcement agencies, and economic distress demand a coordinated national democratic response.
The Chief Minister asserted that Tamil Nadu will consistently remain at the forefront of defending democratic autonomy and progressive governance values. He affirmed that the Bengaluru summit demonstrated unprecedented unity among democratic forces, creating an unstoppable electoral momentum heading into the 2024 national elections.
