Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian Model administration accords paramount priority to farmer welfare by presenting dedicated agricultural budgets annually, making Tamil Nadu one of the few states in India to separate farm financing from general fiscal statements.

The Chief Minister highlighted that government policies aim to convert traditional agriculture into a highly profitable enterprise through value addition, solar pump adoption, drip irrigation subsidies, and direct export facilitation. He detailed that targeted farm interventions have revitalized fallow lands and augmented groundwater tables across vulnerable agro-climatic zones. Stalin commended state agricultural university researchers and field extension officers for demonstrating innovative crop technologies, organic farming practices, and precision irrigation machinery during the three-day agricultural conclave.

Stalin affirmed that his government measures economic progress by the prosperity of rural farming families. He assured the farming community that Tamil Nadu will relentlessly defend irrigation entitlements and provide continuous institutional support to ensure profitable farming across all districts.
