Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive development tour across his assembly constituency of Kolathur in Chennai, inaugurating public welfare projects and inspecting ongoing urban modernization works. Stalin laid the foundation stone for an additional modern classroom block at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, reinforcing his commitment to high-quality public education for girl students. He also inaugurated a new water treatment plant boasting an operational capacity of one crore litres daily to supply clean drinking water to residential neighbourhoods.
The Chief Minister inspected comprehensive environmental rejuvenation initiatives underway at Kolathur Lake, directing municipal engineers to expedite bund strengthening, walking track development, and park creation. In addition to reviewing physical works, Stalin held interactive grievance redressal sessions with local residents, distributing customized welfare aid and addressing community petitions directly. He also visited Arulmigu Kapaleeswarar Arts and Science College, distributing educational kits and financial assistance to college students amid enthusiastic student greetings.
Stalin reaffirmed that balanced grassroots development and responsive citizen service remain the foundational guiding principles of his administration. He assured local residents that civic infrastructure upgrades will continue uninterrupted to improve public living standards.
