Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that the state's flagship skill initiative, Naan Mudhalvan, successfully trained thirteen lakh youth during its inaugural year, surpassing the government's initial target of ten lakh students. Stalin detailed employment milestones achieved under the comprehensive program, noting that 70,878 engineering graduates and 1,03,305 arts and science graduates secured career placements in reputed corporate enterprises and research establishments across the country.
The Chief Minister explained that Naan Mudhalvan has expanded its educational footprint beyond industry skills to provide monthly stipends for civil service aspirants preparing for Union Public Service Commission examinations. The scheme also delivers specialized coaching for banking, railway, and Staff Selection Commission recruitment tests to increase Tamil Nadu youth representation in central institutions. Stalin emphasized that bridging campus training with real industry requirements ensures sustainable career mobility for rural youth.
Stalin affirmed that his guiding ambition is to elevate Tamil Nadu students into globally recognized professionals across science, technology, and administration. He pledged that the state government will broaden advanced curriculum partnerships with global technology leaders to empower upcoming generations with cutting-edge vocational proficiencies and lifelong skills.
