DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin penned an inspiring 'Letter to Brethren' (Udanpirapukaluku Kaditham) to party cadres, marking the ongoing centenary celebrations of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. Stalin observed that whenever DMK parliamentarians rise to speak in both houses of Parliament, the Union BJP government trembles with political apprehension, a nervousness that visibly reflects even during their internal party meetings and public speeches.
The Chief Minister attributed this parliamentary impact to the ideological pedigree of Kalaignar Karunanidhi, whose rigorous training molded fearless orators capable of exposing authoritarian centralization, communal rhetoric, and economic injustice. Stalin called upon the party cadre to take Kalaignar's name and egalitarian ideology from Kanyakumari to the Himalayas, building powerful national consensus alongside the INDIA alliance to defeat regressive political forces in the upcoming general elections.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian movement's commitment to social justice, federal autonomy, and linguistic rights resonates across the country. He exhorted cadres to work tirelessly with unity and discipline to ensure a historic national democratic victory that honors Kalaignar's imperishable legacy.
He concluded that the democratic battle for India's soul will be won through unwavering adherence to social justice and federalism.
