Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin sanctioned a financial contribution of 10 crore rupees to the Himachal Pradesh government to support emergency relief and rehabilitation operations following catastrophic floods and landslides. Conveying the heartfelt solidarity of the people of Tamil Nadu, Stalin reached out to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to offer assistance in restoring severely damaged mountain infrastructure and aiding displaced families.

The Chief Minister stated that the sheer scale of human tragedy, loss of lives, and widespread devastation caused by incessant monsoon cloudbursts in Himachal Pradesh demands urgent inter-state compassion and cooperative federalism. He emphasized that during times of unprecedented natural calamity, states must transcend geographic boundaries to provide mutual humanitarian support. The relief fund will assist emergency shelter construction, relief camp operations, and essential medical supplies for affected residents.
