Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive law and order and administrative review meeting in the Cauvery delta region, covering Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, and Mayiladuthurai districts. Convening senior police superintendents, range DIGs, and administrative collectors, Stalin emphasized that maintaining impeccable law and order, ensuring women's safety, and curbing anti-social elements are fundamental responsibilities essential for preserving public trust in democratic governance.
Alongside security reviews, the Chief Minister held direct consultations with representative delegations from farming communities, trade organizations, and marine fisherfolk associations. Listening attentively to their representations regarding irrigation challenges, crop insurance disbursements, fair pricing, and local civic amenities, Stalin issued firm directives to concerned district and departmental authorities to resolve all legitimate demands with utmost urgency and administrative sensitivity.
Stalin stressed that responsive governance depends upon transparent accountability, empathetic public grievance redressal, and dedicated field inspections. He noted that regular monitoring through the 'Kala Aayvaiyil Muthalvar' framework bridges administrative distances between remote rural citizens and state leadership. The Chief Minister reiterated that his government will firmly safeguard the rights, livelihoods, and peaceful coexistence of all working communities across Tamil Nadu.
