Concerned for the rightful share of Cauvery water for Tamil Nadu, a delegation of Tamil Nadu MPs from all parties led by Hon'ble TN Water Resources Minister Thiru @katpadidmk will meet Hon'ble Union Minister of Jal Shakti Thiru @gssjodhpur and submit a memorandum requesting him to direct Karnataka to release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.
Karnataka must honour the verdict of Hon'ble Supreme Court. It's about justice and our state's lifeline.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that an all-party delegation of Members of Parliament led by State Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan will meet Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi. The delegation will formally submit a comprehensive memorandum urging the central ministry to direct Karnataka authorities to comply strictly with binding water release schedules mandated by the Supreme Court of India.
Stalin emphasized that obtaining the state's legitimate share of Cauvery water is an existential necessity for delta farmers whose standing kuruvai and samba crops face severe hydrological distress. He pointed out that compliance with apex court directives represents a fundamental constitutional obligation that upper riparian states cannot evade. The Chief Minister stressed that equitable river water distribution forms the bedrock of inter-state federalism and agricultural stability across the delta districts.
Highlighting the unanimous political consensus within Tamil Nadu on this issue, Stalin affirmed that his government is taking every diplomatic and legal measure to defend regional rights. He urged the Union government to act impartially and enforce Cauvery Water Management Authority orders immediately to protect the livelihoods of millions of farming families across the state.
