Proud to see the @aifsoj, an initiative by DMK, shine at its Second National Conference!
🤝 Witnessed the unity of 15 political parties and 22 OBC/SC/ST Rights Organisations in our quest for #SocialJustice.
🌟 Tamil Nadu and DMK have always led the way. Let's spread this impact across #INDIA for an inclusive, more just future.
In my address at the 2nd National Conference of @aifsoj, I emphasised the need to:
âś…Remove the 50% cap on reservations. âś…Release the Socio-Economic Caste Census data from 2015. âś…Extend reservation to private sector. âś…Explore proportional representation and reservations for backward communities, women and minorities in judicial appointments. âś…Prioritise the appointment of professors from OBC, SC, and ST communities in premier educational institutes. âś…Establish a Social Justice Committee to address grievances of SC/ST/OBC employees and workers.
Together, let's work towards these crucial goals for a more just and inclusive India. I thank all the all India leaders and activists who participated in this conference and shared their valuable insights.

DMK President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed the Second National Conference of the All India Federation for Social Justice, uniting leaders from fifteen political parties and twenty-two backward and tribal rights organizations across the country. Stalin declared that the quest for comprehensive social justice has expanded from a regional crusade in Tamil Nadu into a unifying national movement to defend constitutional equality against majoritarian hegemony.
In his presidential address, the Chief Minister formulated six vital national policy demands: removing the arbitrary fifty percent ceiling on reservations, immediately releasing the 2015 Socio-Economic Caste Census data, and extending affirmative action policies to the private corporate sector. Additionally, Stalin called for instituting proportional representation for backward classes, Dalits, minorities, and women in higher judicial appointments, prioritizing OBC, SC, and ST professorial recruitment in premier central academic institutes, and establishing statutory social justice monitoring panels.
Thanking national democratic leaders and legal luminaries, including DMK MP P. Wilson, for championing the cause, Stalin urged progressive forces to build an unshakeable united front. He concluded that an inclusive, egalitarian India cannot be realized without dismantling caste privilege and guaranteeing proportional representation for all oppressed communities.
