Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted the transformative impact of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme, celebrating it as a trailblazing Dravidian Model welfare initiative that provides a shining blueprint for child nutrition and primary education across India. Stalin emphasized that ensuring nutritious hot breakfasts for primary school children addresses morning hunger, improves classroom attentiveness, sharply reduces childhood anemia, and significantly boosts daily student attendance rates.

The Chief Minister recalled that the flagship program, initially rolled out as a pilot initiative in urban municipal schools, was expanded across all 31,008 government primary schools statewide, benefiting more than 17 lakh young children every single school day. Public policy experts, sociologists, and international bodies have lauded the program for alleviating morning economic stress for working mothers, especially in agrarian and marginalized households.

Stalin affirmed that investing in children's health and foundational literacy is the highest priority of progressive governance. He pointed out that multiple state governments across India and international organizations have begun studying and adopting Tamil Nadu's breakfast model. Concluding his remarks, the Chief Minister reiterated that the Dravidian Model governance will continually expand welfare safety nets, ensuring no child in Tamil Nadu enters a classroom hungry.
