Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive law and order review meeting with District Collectors and Superintendents of Police in Chennai, instructing law enforcement leadership to function as accessible 'friends of the public.' Stalin underscored that maintaining communal peace, ensuring women's safety, and swiftly resolving citizen grievances are essential prerequisites for sustaining Tamil Nadu's industrial momentum and rapid economic growth.
Through open discussions with district heads, the Chief Minister assessed regional crime trends, preventative policing strategies, and field-level grievance resolution mechanisms. He commended police officers for their dedication in preserving communal harmony and managing sensitive law and order situations impartially. Stalin stressed that police stations must remain welcoming public offices where ordinary citizens receive prompt attention, courteous treatment, and swift justice without any prejudice or unnecessary delay.
Looking ahead to upcoming parliamentary elections, the Chief Minister instructed all law enforcement personnel to exercise heightened vigilance and monitor anti-social elements proactively. Stalin reiterated that maintaining flawless public peace, communal harmony, and an unshakeable sense of security among all communities is the core commitment of the Dravidian Model administration across Tamil Nadu.
