Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the keynote inaugural address during the opening of Hitachi Energy India's Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Chennai. The Chief Minister commended Hitachi Energy for establishing its cutting-edge global innovation facility in Chennai, creating sophisticated engineering careers for more than 2,500 local technologists. He detailed how the state government's proactive investment policies, specialized industrial corridors, and streamlined single-window clearances provide an ideal environment for multinational corporations. Stalin noted that foreign direct investments in renewable energy and grid automation reinforce the state's transition toward a sustainable green economy.

Stalin highlighted Tamil Nadu's commitment to industrial modernization ahead of the January 2024 Global Investors Meet. He assured global corporate executives that the state offers unmatched talent availability, robust multimodal logistics, and consistent administrative support.
