Continuing his intensive grassroots administrative tour under the #CMonFieldInspection initiative in Chengalpattu district, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted an unannounced, hands-on review at the Kattankulathur Panchayat Union office. Stalin meticulously audited official project registers, evaluating progress on rural road connectivity networks, Kalaignar Kanavu Illam and rural housing schemes, and centralized drinking water supply pipelines designed for peripheral village habitations.
Interacting directly with local administrative engineers, block development officers, and field staff, Stalin emphasized that public welfare programs must be executed with strict adherence to quality specifications and project timelines. He directed officials to eliminate administrative bottlenecks, prioritize lingering village infrastructure requirements, and verify that drinking water reaches every household tap without seasonal disruptions. The Chief Minister also reviewed the disbursement of social security pensions and rural livelihood subsidies.
Stalin emphasized that the true measure of Dravidian Model governance lies in the noticeable improvement of rural livelihoods, sanitation, and civic infrastructure in everyday villages. He reiterated that field inspections are meant not merely for oversight, but to ensure that governmental machinery functions with heightened sensitivity, urgency, and accountability toward the common people of Tamil Nadu.
