It was heartening to inaugurate Phase-1 of Singapore based #CapitaLand's International Tech Park in Chennai, today. Once other phases are completed, this 5 million sq ft facility can provide office space to 50,000 professionals. I am glad that the CapitaLand group, whom I met during my visit to Singapore earlier this year, has more investments planned for our Tamil Nadu.
Over the past 2 years, numerous Global Capability Centres (GCCs) have chosen Tamil Nadu as their base, signaling an ongoing industrial revolution. This is just a glimpse of the exciting prospects awaiting us at the #GlobalInvestorsMeet in Chennai, January 2024. #TNGIM2024

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the first phase of Singapore-based CapitaLand's International Tech Park along Chennai's Radial Road, marking an important milestone in Tamil Nadu's burgeoning information technology infrastructure. Upon full completion of all planned phases, the world-class five-million-square-foot facility is designed to accommodate over 50,000 technology professionals, reflecting the sustained inflow of high-value investments into the state.
Stalin recalled his high-level investment delegation to Singapore earlier in the year, where fruitful bilateral discussions with CapitaLand executives laid the groundwork for expanded industrial projects across Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister noted that over the past two years, dozens of leading multinational corporations have chosen the state to establish specialized Global Capability Centres, driving a modern knowledge-economy revolution across tier-one and tier-two hubs.
Highlighting the upcoming Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet scheduled for January 2024, Stalin noted that the CapitaLand inauguration provides a preview of the immense industrial partnerships awaiting fruition. He reaffirmed the Dravidian Model government's resolve to foster business-friendly policies, invest in skilled talent pools, and transform Tamil Nadu into a premier global destination for advanced technology and manufacturing innovations.
