நாட்டிற்கே முன்னோடியாக 2009-இல் தலைவர் கலைஞர் அவர்கள் ஏழை எளியோரின் உயிர் காக்கும் காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தைத் தொடங்கி வழிகாட்டினார். 2015-16-இல்தான் ஒன்றிய அரசு இப்படி ஒரு திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. தற்போது #CMCHIS-இல் நமது அரசு மருத்துவமனைகள் இந்தியாவிலேயே எந்த மாநிலமும் நிகழ்த்தாத சாதனையை நிகழ்த்தியுள்ளன. முதலமைச்சரின் விரிவான மருத்துவக் காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தால் பயனைடைந்தவர்களில் 50 விழுக்காட்டினர் அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளில் சிகிச்சை பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
இது நமது கல்வி, மருத்துவத் துறைகளின் சாதனைகளுக்கான சான்று மட்டுமல்ல; வெற்றி மணிமகுடம்!
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted two major media reports underscoring that education and public healthcare remain the twin foundational pillars of the Dravidian Model administration. In education, Stalin pointed out that under the Naan Mudhalvan initiative, the government is fully funding the four-thousand-rupee application fee and providing free professional entrance coaching for 3,300 government school students appearing for the Common Law Admission Test, boosting marginalized students into premier national law schools.
In healthcare, Stalin recalled that former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi pioneered state-funded comprehensive life-saving health insurance in 2009, years before the Union government conceived similar initiatives. Today, the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme achieved an unprecedented national milestone: fifty percent of all covered medical and surgical treatments were performed within government hospitals, demonstrating unparalleled public trust in Tamil Nadu’s state-run healthcare infrastructure.
