Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin emphasized that dairy farming constitutes a critical economic backbone for rural agrarian households, and the state administration has prioritized modernizing milk procurement, expanding processing capacity, and guaranteeing remunerative prices to cooperative dairy farmers across all districts.

The Chief Minister commended Dairy Development Minister Mano Thangaraj and cooperative officials for executing strategic operational reforms, including digitizing procurement weighing scales, introducing solar-powered bulk milk chilling units, and streamlining logistics networks. These upgrades have eradicated middlemen exploitation, ensured transparent computerized payments directly to dairy farmers' bank accounts, and expanded the commercial product portfolio of Aavin across regional and retail markets.

Stalin affirmed that strengthening cooperative dairying fosters inclusive rural prosperity, particularly empowering women who constitute the vast majority of dairy cooperative members. He stated that the government remains determined to position Aavin as a leading national dairy brand capable of competing with private conglomerates while firmly upholding its foundational public cooperative ethos of delivering affordable, adulteration-free nutrition to consumers statewide.
