Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited Anakaputhur in Chengalpattu district for the third consecutive day of field inspections, supervising relief operations and distributing essential emergency supplies to residents affected by Cyclone Michaung. Handing over packages containing dry rations, drinking water, clothing, and milk, Stalin interacted directly with affected families to ascertain their immediate requirements and review local drainage conditions.

The Chief Minister commended civic volunteers, community associations, youth groups, and non-governmental organizations who have been actively collaborating with government departments on the frontlines. He observed that community-led initiatives, working alongside municipal workers and police personnel, have played a vital role in reaching marooned neighborhoods, operating community kitchens, and ensuring timely food distribution.

Stalin affirmed that the state government is mobilizing all available mechanical and human resources to drain stagnant rainwater from suburban streets and clear accumulated sludge without delay. Medical teams have been instructed to conduct continuous health screening camps in the area to prevent post-flood epidemics. Stalin reiterated his personal pledge to oversee relief activities directly until complete civic normalcy and livelihood stability are restored across all suburban localities.
