In an impassioned letter to party brethren, Dravidian Munnetra Kazhagam President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commended party workers for their tireless dedication during Cyclone Michaung relief operations. Stalin highlighted that cadres worked ceaselessly on the ground until floodwaters fully receded, while the DMK IT Wing established an emergency war room that successfully tracked, coordinated, and directed critical aid to distress areas across affected districts.
Stalin observed that widespread public appreciation served as a proud testament to the genuine commitment and compassion displayed by the party's grassroots workers. Looking ahead to the forthcoming parliamentary elections, he emphasized the historic need to take the achievements of the Dravidian Model governance to the national stage while spearheading the campaign to restore state rights.
The Chief Minister called upon party members to participate enthusiastically in the second DMK Youth Wing State Conference in Salem on December 24, organized under Youth Wing Secretary and Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. Stalin asserted that reclaiming federal autonomy and linguistic rights is central to India's democratic health, expressing confidence that the Salem convention will lay an invincible foundation for future electoral triumphs.
