The expanded ministerial deployment aims to coordinate rescue operations across Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Tenkasi, and Kanniyakumari, where exceptional rainfall inundated extensive residential, commercial, and agricultural areas. Stalin emphasized that direct oversight by senior political leadership ensures rapid administrative decisions, smooth logistical coordination, and immediate resolution of local bottlenecks in rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
