Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin distributed welfare assistance, government job appointment orders, and permanent house site pattas to hundreds of beneficiaries at a special function organized by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department in Chennai. Stalin underscored that his administration instituted the celebration of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's birth anniversary as Equality Day across Tamil Nadu, institutionalizing the visionary leader's ideals into concrete welfare programs like the Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme.
During the event, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones for modern community infrastructure, educational hostel buildings, and housing complexes across multiple districts. He reiterated that affirmative social schemes are not charitable concessions but basic constitutional rights owed to marginalized citizens. Providing subsidized business loans, specialized vocational training, and permanent land titles enables beneficiaries to break structural poverty barriers.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian Model administration remains unswerving in its mission to construct an egalitarian society founded on social equality, rationalism, and mutual respect. He directed department officials to work tirelessly so that developmental benefits reach the remotest forest settlements and rural habitations without bureaucratic delay or administrative hurdles.
