Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that the state will officially unveil its comprehensive 'Roadmap to Achieve $1 Trillion by 2030' at the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet on January 7 and 8 in Chennai. As the countdown to the flagship conclave commenced, Stalin expressed excitement over the overwhelming global interest from multinational enterprises, tech innovators, and trade missions. He highlighted that the two-day summit will showcase the depth, diversity, and technological sophistication of Tamil Nadu's industrial ecosystem.

The policy roadmap outlines detailed sectoral strategies to scale high-value manufacturing, electronic hardware fabrication, electric vehicle assembly, textile modernization, and aerospace manufacturing across diversified district clusters. Stalin stated that achieving this ambitious economic target requires harmonizing high capital inflows with equitable wealth distribution and job creation for women and rural youth.
