Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024 at Chennai Trade Centre, sharing the dais with Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and premier industrial leaders. The opening ceremony brought together chairpersons and chief executives of leading multinational and domestic enterprises, including TVS, JSW, Tata Electronics, Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, Godrej, Qualcomm, First Solar, VinFast, Ola Electric, Mitsubishi, Pegatron, and A.P. Moller Singapore. Stalin highlighted that global acclaim for Tamil Nadu's one-trillion-dollar economic target reflects the state's unmatched industrial strengths.
Addressing the gathering, Stalin stated that Tamil Nadu possesses a unique industrial ecosystem where modern technology, manufacturing capability, and progressive social infrastructure reinforce one another. He urged industrial leaders to aim high and establish transformational manufacturing facilities across diverse state corridors. The Chief Minister emphasized that industrialization must uplift all social sections and generate meaningful livelihoods for educated youth.
