தங்களுக்கு வேண்டியவர்கள் என்றால் உண்மைகளை மறைத்து, நீதிமன்றத்தையே தவறாக வழிநடத்தி கொடுங்குற்றவாளிகளை விடுவிக்க பிரயத்தனம் செய்யும் பா.ஜ.க. ஆட்சியாளர்கள், எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் ஆட்சி செய்யும் மாநிலங்களில் நீண்டகால சிறைவாசிகளை - நன்னடத்தையின் அடிப்படையிலும் வயது மூப்பு கருதியும் சட்டபூர்வமாக முன்விடுதலை செய்யும் முயற்சிகளுக்கு முட்டுக்கட்டை போடுவது அவர்களது இரட்டை நிலைப்பாட்டையே காட்டுகிறது.
“நீதி கிடைத்தது கண்டு கண்ணீர் மல்கினேன்; என் குழந்தைகளைக் கட்டி அணைத்துக் கொண்டேன்; ஒரு பெரிய மலையையே என் மேல் இருந்து அகற்றியது போன்ற உணர்வை பெறுகிறேன். இப்போதுதான் நிம்மதிப் பெருமூச்சு விடுகிறேன்” என்று சகோதரி பில்கிஸ் பானு அவர்கள் கூறியுள்ள வார்த்தைகள் அவர் பட்ட இன்னல்களை விவரிக்கின்றன.

He pointed out that while BJP administrations actively manipulate court procedures to grant unlawful remissions to perpetrators of horrific crimes, they deliberately obstruct lawful, humanitarian releases of long-term prison inmates in opposition-governed states on grounds of good conduct and advanced age.
Quoting Bilkis Bano's emotional words upon hearing the verdict, Stalin hailed her courageous, exhausting legal struggle as an inspiring chapter in the history of civil rights. He commended her unbreakable resolve alongside the senior lawyers and democratic organizations who supported her journey.
