Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated new school and residential hostel facilities constructed for hearing-impaired children in Salem district, bringing an end to years of functioning from cramped rented accommodations. Stalin expressed deep emotional satisfaction upon interacting with the children and witnessing their joyous gratitude, observing that empowering vulnerable students with dignified public infrastructure represents the core mission of the Dravidian Model governance.

During the administrative tour, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a 100 crore rupee project to upgrade the Hosur Government Hospital into a modern District Headquarters Hospital. Stalin noted that expanding Hosur's healthcare infrastructure is vital to serving the rapidly growing industrial population and rural communities across Krishnagiri district. The expansion will add advanced trauma care units, intensive care facilities, maternal health wings, and specialized diagnostic laboratories.

In addition, Stalin inaugurated multi-departmental development initiatives across social welfare, municipal administration, and public health sectors throughout the western region.
