Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin appealed to citizens, business leaders, and investors to visit the ongoing TN BEAT Expo 2024 in Chennai, emphasizing that broad public participation provides vital encouragement to Adi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs. Stalin noted that economic self-reliance represents an essential pillar of genuine social justice, ensuring that historically marginalized communities transition successfully from wage employment into thriving business leadership and wealth creation.
The exhibition showcased innovative commercial ventures, engineering products, and artisan goods developed by Dalit and tribal business owners supported through targeted state government financing schemes. Stalin commended Youth Welfare Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj for curating an empowering commercial platform. He reiterated that the Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme provides substantial capital subsidies and low-interest credit to enable marginalized youth to establish viable manufacturing enterprises.
The Chief Minister affirmed that the Dravidian Model administration will continue expanding institutional procurement and credit guarantees for marginalized businesses across all sectors. He expressed confidence that nurturing entrepreneurial talent among disadvantaged communities builds an equitable and vibrant industrial economy across Tamil Nadu for years to come.
