Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin arrived in Madrid, Spain, commencing his first official European diplomatic and commercial tour since assuming office as Chief Minister. Upon his arrival, Stalin received a formal reception from Indian Ambassador to Spain Dinesh K. Patnaik and senior diplomatic officials at Madrid airport. The Chief Minister outlined a focused itinerary centered on engaging leading Spanish corporate conglomerates, industry associations, and infrastructure developers to attract high-value industrial ventures to Tamil Nadu.
Stalin scheduled bilateral meetings with top executives across key sectors, including automotive manufacturing, renewable energy systems, high-speed rail engineering, and advanced biotechnology research. He highlighted that his mission focuses on showcasing Tamil Nadu's superior logistics connectivity, skilled technical talent, and investor-friendly industrial policies to European enterprise boards. The Chief Minister emphasized that attracting international capital and technological expertise directly accelerates the creation of specialized engineering jobs for educated local youth.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the Spanish mission would yield durable economic partnerships and substantial industrial investments. He affirmed that active global commercial engagement ensures Tamil Nadu's rapid progression toward its one-trillion-dollar economic milestone.
