Wrapped up exhilarating talks with top executives from Spain's industrial giants – #Gestamp, #Talgo, and #Edibon. Convinced them of the boundless opportunities in Tamil Nadu, India's manufacturing powerhouse. Thrilled to seal the deal with Edibon, securing a massive investment of Rs. 540 crores!
Also had a fruitful discussion with #Mabtree, a company engaged in R&D in immunotherapies.
A fitting finale to the successful visit to Spain. With such fruitful results, I will be departing from Spain tomorrow and longing to see you all after quite a few days, which feel like eternity to me. Similarly, I am grateful to the Tamil community in Spain for the warm welcome and hospitality they have shown me.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin wrapped up his official investment mission in Spain after securing a 540 crore rupee investment deal with technical training equipment manufacturer Edibon. During high-level industrial discussions, Stalin engaged leadership teams from major Spanish corporations, including automotive components maker Gestamp and railway manufacturer Talgo. He presented Tamil Nadu's industrial infrastructure, skilled engineering workforce, and dependable governance to pitch the state as India's foremost manufacturing hub.
Stalin also met executives from biotechnology firm Mabtree to discuss potential research partnerships in biomedical immunotherapies. The Chief Minister highlighted Tamil Nadu's expanding healthcare ecosystem and progressive policy support for advanced life sciences research. He underscored that securing high-value industrial and research ventures directly expands employment avenues for the state's educated youth.
Concluding his overseas itinerary, Stalin expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Tamil diaspora in Spain for their warm hospitality and cultural solidarity. He observed that establishing sustainable overseas commercial linkages strengthens Tamil Nadu's journey toward creating a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2030 while generating skilled technical occupations for local youth across industrial hubs. State officials confirmed that follow-up delegations will ensure swift plant groundbreakings.
