Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Addressing the house, Stalin declared that the Tamil language serves as the unifying identity connecting millions of Tamils across the globe beyond regional or political boundaries. Quoting revolutionary poet Pavendhar Bharathidasan, the Chief Minister recalled the glorious historical struggles waged by the Dravidian movement to liberate the mother tongue from linguistic hegemony and cultural domination.

Stalin traced the transformative trajectory through which self-respect activists restored Tamil to its rightful prominence in civic naming, stage discourses, cinema, literature, and official government records. He stated that the DMK administration remains duty-bound to preserve this linguistic heritage while modernizing its applications for contemporary digital technologies. Members across party lines stood united in the legislative chamber to take the solemn oath of dedication to Tamil.
