Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin gave an ironclad commitment that the state-of-the-art public library planned for Coimbatore will be completed and thrown open by January 2026. Contrasting his government's administrative execution with the long-delayed Madurai AIIMS announcement by the Union government, Stalin stressed that the Dravidian Model administration delivers precisely what it promises. The grand library complex, modeled after Chennai's Anna Centenary Library and Madurai's Kalaignar Centenary Library, was formally sanctioned in the state budget to serve students, competitive exam aspirants, and researchers across western Tamil Nadu.

Stalin stated that building world-class knowledge infrastructure in major regional centers democratizes access to advanced educational resources. The Coimbatore library will house hundreds of thousands of volumes, expansive digital reading rooms, braille sections, and dedicated coaching hubs for civil services and professional competitive examinations. He pointed out that while political opponents rely on hollow announcements that stall for years without progress, his government enforces rigorous execution timelines.
