Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin declared that the state will establish itself as the premier global human capital and talent powerhouse for the information technology sector. Commending Information Technology and Digital Services Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan for steering strategic policy initiatives, Stalin asserted that targeted public investments in digital education, high-tech skilling, and research infrastructure will drive this transformation. His remarks came in the context of the Umagine Chennai 2024 technology summit, which brings together global enterprises, software innovators, and venture investors.

Stalin emphasized that Tamil Nadu possesses an unbeatable combination of technical graduates, Tier-II technology clusters, and equitable educational access. Under the Dravidian Model administration, programs like Naan Mudhalvan have trained hundreds of thousands of students in artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, and data science, ensuring immediate industry readiness. The Chief Minister pointed out that decentralizing IT parks into Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, and Tirunelveli provides distributed employment for youth in their native regions.

The Chief Minister affirmed that the state government will provide complete policy facilitation to multinational corporations and innovative startups. He expressed absolute confidence that Tamil Nadu will set international benchmarks in digital governance and high-skill knowledge employment.
