Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin launched the Illamthorum Stalinin Kural statewide campaign, instructing party workers to visit every household ahead of the parliamentary elections. The door-to-door political initiative builds upon the earlier campaign tour to directly communicate state governance achievements, flagship budget announcements, and central fiscal injustices to grassroots families. Stalin directed party cadres to explain how the Dravidian Model administration systematically fulfilled election pledges despite persistent financial obstruction from the Union BJP government.
The campaign distributes informational material outlining landmark state programs, including the monthly women's entitlement allowance, free public bus travel for women, and the morning breakfast scheme for primary schoolchildren. Simultaneously, cadres will highlight how the central government withheld disaster recovery allocations and shortchanged Tamil Nadu in tax devolution. Stalin emphasized that personal household interactions are essential to counter propaganda and consolidate grassroots support for the national INDIA bloc.
The Chief Minister asserted that defeating authoritarian governance at the Centre is indispensable to preserving Indian democracy, federal state autonomy, and secular constitutional values. He called on cadres to work unceasingly to ensure a decisive electoral sweep across all forty parliamentary constituencies.
