Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin conveyed heartfelt thanks to Left party comrades for their warm birthday felicitations, reaffirming the enduring ideological alliance between the Dravidian and Communist movements. Stalin articulated that both movements share a profound historical commitment to liberating the proletariat, eradicating caste-based hierarchy, and dismantling structural exploitation. He underscored that uniting the emancipatory philosophies of Periyar and Karl Marx provides an ideological compass to advance grassroots social justice and economic equality in modern India.

The DMK president emphasized that the united front of secular, democratic, and socialist forces is indispensable in defending the secular Constitution against authoritarian and majoritarian assaults.
