Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered a sharp rebuttal against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertion that the Union government bypasses state authorities to distribute funds directly to citizens. Stalin characterized the claim as a blatant untruth, directly challenging the central leadership to specify which citizens in Tamil Nadu received such direct assistance. He pointed out that when catastrophic flood disasters battered eight southern and northern districts, the Union administration completely failed to disburse emergency disaster relief to affected residents.
Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian Model administration designs welfare programs with meticulous care, ensuring that every single rupee of public funds reaches legitimate beneficiaries transparently. To guarantee seamless delivery and solicit direct citizen feedback on public services, the government launched the pioneering 'Neengal Nalama' outreach initiative. Through this interactive system, state leadership connects directly with scheme recipients to evaluate administrative efficiency and continuously refine welfare implementation across all communities.
The Chief Minister asserted that genuine governance lies in transparent public accountability rather than misleading electoral claims. He vowed that Tamil Nadu will consistently protect public resources and deliver responsive, people-first administration across the state.
