Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin distributed comprehensive Ramadan welfare relief packages to 2,000 Muslim community members in his home legislative constituency of Kolathur. The distribution kit comprised 26 kilograms of premium rice, seasonal clothing, quality dates, and direct financial assistance to support families during the holy month of fasting. Stalin highlighted that extending tangible assistance and upholding social harmony constitutes the foremost duty of people's representatives, embodying the compassionate ethos of the Dravidian movement.
The Chief Minister commended the Islamic community for its enduring values of charity, compassion, and steadfast dedication to social harmony across Tamil Nadu. He emphasized that the state government actively supports minority welfare through educational scholarships, infrastructure assistance for community institutions, and subsidized pilgrimage schemes. Stalin observed that Tamil Nadu's strength lies in its pluralistic social culture where people of diverse faiths celebrate sacred traditions together with mutual respect and communal solidarity.
