DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed an inspiring open letter to party workers, announcing the launch of the democratic restoration campaign from Tiruchirappalli. Stalin proclaimed that the historical campaign marching from the Rockfort city of Tiruchirappalli aims to liberate the Red Fort in New Delhi from central authoritarianism. He invoked the proud legacy of the Dravidian movement, reminding cadres that political campaigns originating in Tiruchirappalli have repeatedly led to decisive democratic victories across Tamil Nadu.
In his letter, Stalin urged party workers to take the exceptional governance achievements of the Dravidian Model to every household. He emphasized that the DMK administration fulfilled key promises, including providing monthly basic income assistance to over one crore women, ensuring free bus travel, and modernizing schools through the breakfast scheme. Stalin instructed cadres to conduct disciplined, energetic door-to-door outreach to educate electors about the severe threats posed by the BJP regime to secularism, state autonomy, and social justice.
Stalin rallied the alliance forces to secure an emphatic victory across all forty parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. He declared that tireless cadre dedication will lead to democratic triumph on April 19.
