DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin formally launched the 2024 parliamentary election campaign with a historic mega convention in Tiruchirappalli, streaming the address live to millions of viewers. Stalin recalled that throughout Dravidian political history, every transformative statewide electoral victory began with a turning-point conference in Tiruchirappalli. The convention brought together leaders of all INDIA alliance partners, party volunteers, youth, and women from central districts, filling the meeting grounds with extraordinary energy.

In his keynote address, Stalin presented the Dravidian Model governance as a successful national alternative to the divisive policies of the Union government. He detailed the remarkable achievements delivered by his administration, including the monthly basic income transfer for women, the expansion of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme, and unprecedented industrial investments. Stalin contrasted these achievements with ten years of central neglect, unfulfilled job promises, and the persistent denial of disaster relief and educational funding to Tamil Nadu.

Stalin sounded the electoral battle cry 'Naarpathum Namadhe, Naadum Namadhe' (All forty are ours, the nation is ours). He urged the electorate to deliver an emphatic sweep for the INDIA bloc to restore constitutional democracy.
