#Vote4INDIA

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin strongly condemned the Union government for its persistent step-motherly treatment toward opposition-ruled states, announcing that Tamil Nadu will approach the Supreme Court to secure legitimately due disaster relief funds. Stalin pointed out the absurdity of having to seek judicial intervention for routine constitutional functions, such as compelling the Governor to grant assent to legislative bills and swearing in K. Ponmudy as Cabinet Minister. He stated that the Union administration is deliberately paralyzing elected state governments through appointed authorities.
Addressing the denial of central disaster assistance following catastrophic floods in Chennai and southern districts, Stalin questioned whether the people of Tamil Nadu are not equal citizens of India. He underscored that while Tamil Nadu contributes substantial tax revenues to the Union treasury, the central government consistently denies emergency financial relief during unprecedented natural calamities. Stalin affirmed that his administration will not hesitate to fight through every legal and constitutional avenue to protect the rights of the state's citizens.
The Chief Minister called on voters to end this systemic injustice by electing the INDIA alliance. He declared that restoring federal respect requires unseating the authoritarian Union regime.
