Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin shared photographic moments from his early morning campaign interactions with fisherfolk and local merchants across Thoothukudi. Stalin remarked that working-class families and market traders embraced him warmly as one of their own household members during his walk through the coastal wards. The photographs documented spontaneous exchanges where community members shared their perspectives on local commerce and livelihood security.

During his interactions, Stalin listened attentively to the concerns raised by the coastal community regarding mechanized boat diesel subsidies, harbor modernization, and fair sea-catch procurement prices. He explained that his government significantly increased the annual fishing ban period relief allowance and provided extensive financial rehabilitation following severe coastal weather disruptions. Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian Model governance derives its fundamental strength from direct, empathetic connection with everyday working citizens, ensuring that administrative policies reflect real ground needs.

The Chief Minister thanked the people of Thoothukudi for their enduring affection and trust. Stalin urged the trading and fishing communities to vote decisively for the INDIA alliance to ensure democratic protection and economic progress for Tamil Nadu.
